Really looking forward to this reunion. Should be great. Jim and I are taking the Denver Zephyr out to Chicago on June 11 and will be driving up to Galesburg from Champaign-Urbana on the 18th. I'm delighted about the added brunch and tour of GHS. By the way, does anybody know anybody who could let us into Lombard for a half-hour or forty-five minute walk-around from the auditorium through the main building and the old gym? I'd love to see the interior of Lombard again after all these years.

Terry, that would be interesting to see. I think the old gym is not used any longer and discussions about tearing it down were going on last year. Those discussions stirred quite a few objections and I don't know what the current status is.
I contacted Marty Goshert-White and she has made your request happen! See the banner above.

Dear Frank and ALL classmates of "64",
Tomorrow I am off from Helsinki to Chicago to start my "sentimental and nostalgic journey" to the 50th Anniversary of Class 64 in Galesburg. I will first spend a few days with my American sister Lauries Bradley (former Doyle) and her husband Don in Chicago and in Holland, Michigan. I take the train to Galesburg on Thu 19th June. Planning to attend all events and hope to see you all. On Sunday afternoon I will take the train to Albuquerque, N.M. to see my American brother Tim Doyle. Love, Mike
